Inmate sentenced to 40 years for beating guard
LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- An Arkansas inmate already behind bars will now spend the next 40 years in prison for a new sentence.
Gary Gould, Jr. was sentenced Friday for an attack of a guard at a maximum-security unit in 2017.
Court records show Gould beat the guard within an inch of his life.
The guard spent several months recovering but is doing ok today.
