Razorback football players reinstated, will play in Ole Miss game

Little Rock, Arkansas – Two Razorback football players who had been suspended following an arrest for disorderly behavior are now eligible to play against Ole Miss on Saturday.
The arrest of Razorback football players Myles Slusher and Anthony Brown on November 6 at 2:00 a.m. was captured on body camera video by the Fayetteville police department.
After serving a seven-day suspension, they will play on Saturday, according to coach Sam Pittman.
The police report states that a sizable throng gathered and obstructed traffic around Dickson Street and North West Avenue. According to the allegation, Anthony Brown, 19, was ordered by police to leave the road. Police claim that Brown first concurred, but then claim that he returned to the street.
When Brown refused to leave the street, an officer allegedly grabbed his sleeve. According to the police, Brown retaliated by pushing.
Slusher, 20, allegedly grabbed an officer during Brown’s arrest and pulled him away from Brown.
The two were checked into the correctional facility in Washington County.
The Razorbacks have defensive backs in Slusher and Brown. Slusher, a junior starter on defense, is a starter. Brown, a first-year student, has not yet made an appearance in a match.
