Over the past weekend, a group of experienced disaster relief volunteers from Texas Baptist Men made their way from Dallas to Little Rock, responding to the aftermath of a devastating tornado that tore through the city, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. The Director of Disaster Relief for Texas Baptist Men, David Wells, expressed that they had been keeping a close eye on the weather patterns and had volunteers at the ready, equipped with necessary tools, should the need arise.

The initial deployment crew consisted of a command center and a large generator, and once on the ground, Texas Baptist Men crews were focused on assessing the damage caused by the tornado, with further volunteers set to arrive in the coming days, armed with power tools and a mobile kitchen.
