Five seniors from Parkview Arts and Science will get $200,000 in scholarships
Little Rock, Arkansas – Five seniors from Parkview Arts and Science Magnet High School will be honored by the United States Navy and Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) with a $200,000 scholarship.
A ceremony has been planned to honor the five honorees for their outstanding achievements in front of the general audience.
On campus this Friday, they will be recognized among the hundreds of applicants from throughout the country.
The U.S. Navy reports that it will happen at Parkview Art and Science Magnet High School’s Ripley Arena at 1 p.m.
The students who will be recognized are:
Passion Ball (Southern University)
Breighah Bailey (Hampton University)
Richard Hampton (Marion Military Institute)
Jasmine Raynor (Southern University)
Aaliyah Walker (Marion Military Institute)
During the ceremony, the awardees will get checks for the scholarships from Commander Dominique Jackson, the director of Navy Community Outreach.
