Women’s Leadership Conference returns after two-year absence
Little Rock, Arkansas — The Women’s Leadership Center in the Neil Griffin College of Business at Arkansas State University had to cancel the Women’s Leadership Conference in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It will be back in 2022. The conference will be held April 12 on the ASU campus.
The opening plenary session features a keynote address by ASU alumna Pat Keel, executive vice president, chief financial and administrative officer, for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis. She will speak at 9:30 a.m. in Centennial Hall of the Reng Student Union. Scholarship awards, along with recognition of individuals comprising the Founders Circle and other advocates for the center, will follow.
The Founders Circle began as a group of 30 successful professional women who committed financial resources and time to serve as mentors and advisers to young women.
According to Dr. Patricia Quinn Johnston, chair of the Women’s Leadership Conference Committee and faculty coordinator for the Women’s Leadership Center, she hopes this will be a memorable conference.
