Body found in parking lot of truck stop near Little Rock outlet, police investigating
Little Rock, Arkansas – Police were looking into a fatality Sunday afternoon after reporting that the body of a black man was found inside a car at a truck stop close to a well-known Little Rock commercial area.
Just before 3 p.m., according to Little Rock police, officers went to the Love’s Travel Stop at 11700 Interstate 30 in the vicinity of the Outlets of Little Rock.
“Officers secured the scene and a preliminary investigation began,” police tweeted. “At this point, there is no evidence of foul play.”
The body was reportedly taken to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy and for positive identification, according to the police.
Although the cause of the man’s death was unknown, authorities promised to reveal further information as soon as it was available.
