Little Rock, Arkansas – In order to deal with problems caused by Friday’s storm, Summit Utilities has launched a collaboration with federal, state, and local authorities.
According to a press release, the business issued the following statement:
“Our customers are recovering from Friday’s severe weather in central Arkansas. We have over 100 operations team members in neighborhoods impacted by the storm. They are addressing gas-related calls, clear debris, and making sure our customers are safe. Our technicians worked overnight repairing damage caused by the devastating tornados and will continue working through the weekend, checking equipment, and responding to hard-hit areas and homes. Since yesterday evening, our crews have responded to more than 380 calls from customers. We will continue to work together with state and local officials and first responders to address customer and community concerns as we all focus on recovery from the tragic storms. Our hearts go out to all those impacted, particularly those who suffered major injuries and friends and family of those who lost their lives.”
Summit Utilities, advise customers to practice safety and to contact our customer service department if their gas service is disrupted.
