To generate $30,000 for a school for the blind, seventeen clinics band together

Little Rock, Arkansas – It has been determined that the Arkansas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ASBVI) has been able to gather more than thirty thousand dollars.
The funds were obtained through the sale of solar eclipse glasses that were produced by the Arkansas Ophthalmological Society during the event that took place on April 8th. In order to complete the initiative that was state-wide, seventeen clinics collaborated.
In order to accept the cheque, Dr. Christopher Barnes, who recently became the superintendent of ASBVI, was there.
“I think that we’ve got a lot of projects that we can work on to be able to provide additional support for students,” says Barnes.
“Some recreational activities, you know making sure that our students have access to things that are out there in the world. There’s a lot of things that we can give them access to, and so this is what this money will be used for.”
