2 people dead after a plane crash in Poinsett County
Arkansas – On Monday, January 4, two people died after a small plane crashed in the Northwest part of Poinsett County.
The crash was reported at 9:44 a.m. According to Sheriff Kevin Molder, Emergency crews immediately responded and found a twin-engine plane in a field off in Flag Slough Lane.
Conway Regional Airport officials reported that the plane was headed from Jonesboro to their airport.
Poinsett County police department notified the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board about this plane crash.
The names of the victims have not been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
