3,100 new Covid-19 cases and 34 additional deaths reported in Arkansas
Arkansas – Arkansas is expected to see an increase in Covid-19 cases and hospitalization in the coming weeks after the holidays, according to health officials
The state has confirmed over 1,125 deaths related to Covid-19 infection since the beginning of December.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the Arkansas Department of Health reported a total of 222,430 Covid-19 cases. Of those cases, 184,947 are confirmed and 37,483 are probable. Till now, 166,198 have recovered from the coronavirus
Today ADH reported 3,184 new Covid-19 cases and 34 new deaths.
Gov. Hutchinson stated: “We continue to see high numbers of new cases and capacity pressures on our hospitals, I urge everyone to be careful as we enter another holiday to reduce the virus spread, and we need to support each other as Arkansans while we work to distribute the vaccine.”
