3,705 new Covid-19 cases and 65 more deaths reported in Arkansas
Arkansas – Arkansas continues to break records with new Covid-19 cases. ADH on Wednesday added 3,705 new Covid-19 cases and 65 additional deaths, which brings to a total of 242,593 coronavirus cases and 6,901 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.
Of those 3,705 new cases reported on Wednesday, 2,324 are confirmed and 1,381 are probable. There are currently 1,321 hospitalizations, 217 on ventilators and till now 213,574 patients have recovered from the coronavirus.
The Arkansas Department of Health officials also noted that more than 50,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given.
“Vaccine doses continue to be distributed across the state to those in Category 1-A, and we are also receiving additional doses each week,” Hutchinson said.
