The Reform Alliance: $6.3 million is now available to Arkansas students with disabilities
Little Rock, Arkansas — According to The Reform Alliance (TRA), a three million dollar grant has been awarded to Succeed Scholarship students.
The scholarship was made available through the Succeed Scholarship amendment which was signed by Arkansas legislatures.
Managing Director, Emmy Henley, penned a special thank you to Governor Asa Hutchinson for his continued support of the Succeed Scholarship.
“We want to thank Governor Hutchinson for his continued support of the Succeed Scholarship. The failure to pass the Succeed Scholarship amendment to SB63 meant nearly 200 students would have lost their Succeed Scholarship. It is unfortunate that vocal legislators continue to mislead their colleagues by confusing special needs students with high school football stars. We are thankful for the Governor and those in the legislature who consistently support options for parents in Arkansas, including Arkansas’s special needs, foster, and military children.”
According to The Reform Alliance (TRA), a total of $6.3 million is now available to Arkansas students with disabilities, in group foster homes, and military dependents.
The Reform Alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring every K-12 student in Arkansas has equal access to a world-class education at no cost to the state of Arkansas.
