Southwest Arkansas under extreme wildfire danger
Little Rock, Arkansas – The drought situation has gotten worse during the past month of unusually dry weather.
At the moment, Little Rock and the surrounding area are experiencing catastrophic drought, which has affected much of central Arkansas.
Wildfire threat has grown as a result of this. Since September 29th, there has been a serious wildfire threat across the entire state. At this point in October, there is a very high risk of wildfires.
Southwest Arkansas is now in a state of severe wildfire danger. These counties are Nevada, Hempstead, Ouachita, Miller, Lafayette, Columbia, and Union.
Wildfires with an extremely high risk of spreading swiftly, furiously, and while burning severely are classified as such. Every fire that is ignited has the potential to grow enormous and behave in an extreme and unpredictable way.
