Crews clear multi-vehicle crash involving semis on I-40 near Maumelle
Pulaski County, Arkansas – A collision involving two tractor-trailers and another vehicle that caused traffic to slow down on westbound Interstate 40 in Pulaski County on Tuesday morning has been cleared by road officials.
The inner and middle lanes of traffic were stopped by the collision, which occurred right before the Maumelle exit at around 9 a.m.
Although there were no reported casualties, the accident and the subsequent response forced eastbound interstate traffic away from the Interstate 430 interchange.
The Arkansas Department of Transportation said that the road was cleared and completely reopened just after 10 a.m. after the crash’s debris had been removed.
