Arkansas Association of Nigerians give away turkeys for the holidays
Little Rock, Arkansas – Thanksgiving comes in less than two weeks, and due to inflation, many of the ingredients for a holiday meal are anticipated to reach new heights this year.
In light of this, the Arkansas Association of Nigerians organized a celebration with a free turkey giveaway for the central Arkansas neighborhood.
This afternoon, 100 birds were given out at the African Heritage House near Geyer Springs.
The Arkansas Association of Nigerians’ John Ekeanyanwu stated that this event is their way of giving back to the neighborhood.
“We are very appreciative of what we have out of this community and we’ve been blessed with so much and this is our own way of also giving back.”
A nonprofit organization called the Arkansas Association of Nigerians works to spread love, peace, and harmony among Nigerians and other people.
