Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson quiet on a 2024 run
Little Rock, Arkansas – Governor Asa Hutchinson is considering his options for the future as the United States looks ahead after the midterm elections.
Hutchinson addressed whether he was thinking about running for president as well on Tuesday night, when former president Trump declared his third bid for the office.
Hutchinson appeared to be thinking about running but wasn’t sure if he wanted to put his name on the ballot.
“With the midterm election over, a lot of attention now will focus on 2024,” the governor said. “I think I have something to offer and we’ll see where that leads.”
Hutchinson stated that he wants to consider it more thoroughly and to pray about it, but that he anticipates making a decision before the end of January.
