Dallas police arrest a man they believe is connected to the shooting in March in Little Rock
Little Rock, Arkansas – A man sought after in relation to a shooting in Little Rock in March was detained on Monday in Dallas.
According to Robert Hammons, a spokesman for the U.S. Marshals Service, Danny Brown, 37, was detained at a Dallas apartment building. After a brief foot chase, Brown was captured by a group of Marshal’s Service personnel.
Following a gunshot death on Fairlee Drive on March 27, Brown was wanted by Little Rock police. A woman with a gunshot wound was discovered by police when they were summoned to a home in the 4700 blocks.
After being brought to the hospital, the woman passed away.
According to Little Rock police, Brown was charged with first-degree capital murder.
Brown is presently being held in Dallas, according to Hammons. After an extradition hearing, he will likely be taken to Little Rock.
