A person was killed in a shooting that occurred overnight at residences in North Little Rock
Little Rock, Arkansas – Police are looking into a shooting death that occurred overnight in North Little Rock.
The Hemlock Courts Apartments were the scene of a shooting overnight, the North Little Rock Police Department announced on Wednesday morning.
In response to information regarding a shooting, NLR police officers went to the 400 North Palm Street apartments at 12:46 a.m. on Wednesday, according to the police.
When the police came, they discovered an adult male victim who had been shot and was laying on the ground.
Police reported that after being transferred to a nearby hospital, the victim passed away.
After being alerted to the occurrence, detectives from the NLRPD arrived on the scene and launched a homicide investigation.
The detectives are examining the site for evidence and interviewing witnesses, according to NLR police.
In order to give the victim’s next of kin time to respond, the police stated that the victim’s name is not being publicized at this time.
According to NLR police, this investigation is active and ongoing, and more details will be made public as soon as they are made available.
