After the tornado on March 31, Little Rock Purple Cow has announced the official reopening date
Little Rock, Arkansas – The original Purple Cow eatery, situated on Little Rock’s Cantrell Road, is scheduled to reopen for business the week of September 9.
The eatery was reduced to rubble by last year’s March 31 tornado that tore through Little Rock.
Now, a year and a half later, the restaurant is scheduled to reopen. Maintaining the heritage of the 1989-built Purple Cow original.
This is essentially Purple Cow’s legacy. The original is this. According to Ken Vaughan, president of Purple Cow restaurants, “this is what a lot of people relate to Purple Cow.”
According to Vaughan, the interior of the restaurant will be renovated by the construction business in order to accommodate additional patrons. The roof made of purple tin, however, won’t change.
Thus, Vaughan stated, “it’s important to be able to reserve that and make a new look while keeping some of the elements people recognize.”
An element of hiring involves selecting new hires while holding onto some experienced staff members for potential return employment. There will also be training sessions as the staff members prepare to serve in the original purple cow.
