Little Rock, Arkansas – On Wednesday afternoon, a speeding car struck a Conway police officer in the Golden Corral Buffet & Grill parking lot, causing injuries.
At approximately 3:15 p.m., police were looking into an accident outside the East Oak Street location of the all-you-can-eat American franchise when an uninvolved vehicle drove into the parking lot and struck one of the policemen.
After receiving treatment at a hospital in Little Rock, the injured officer is anticipated to fully recover, according to the authorities. They indicated that later on Wednesday night, he will be free to return home.
“There will be an increased police presence in the area while the incident is being investigated, but no traffic lanes are blocked at this time,” police wrote on social media. “Please keep the injured officer in your thoughts.”
