Daily Covid-19 report in Arkansas, 264 new cases reported
Little Rock, Arkansas – Arkansas added 264 new confirmed cases in the daily Covid-19 report for June 12.
According to the report, only one person died in the last 24 hours as a result of the virus.
The Arkansas Department of Health said 7,538 vaccines were administrated for the same period.
Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of cases reached 343,873, while the total number of deaths is now 5,860. There are 2,112 active cases currently.
Governor Hutchinson released the following statement on today’s COVID-19 numbers:
Thanks to everyone who continues to encourage vaccines. Our vaccination numbers are up, but our active cases have increased. Let’s keep going in the right direction as we enter summer.
