Numerous people attend the local fall festival

Jonesboro, Arkansas – A Jonesboro nonprofit held a Fall Festival on Saturday for everyone’s enjoyment.

The Downtown Jonesboro Alliance made sure the Fall Festival had everything you could want from free ice cream to live music to half a dozen local artisans and food trucks from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rotary Centennial Plaza downtown.

The festival aimed to unite the neighborhood and encourage people to support local artists and sellers rather than shop online.

“I put part of my heart behind building this event to support local businesses, and instead of going on Esty, you let go and find our local artist,” said event organizer Sarah Rickert.

The festival played a part in uniting the neighborhood for a fun time.

“I am super passionate about just bringing our community together and bringing our families out and just supporting each other,” said Rickert.

The festival will likely grow in size the following year, according to Rickert, who praised the incredible turnout.
