One person injured after Saturday night stabbing
Weiner, Arkansas – After being stabbed on Saturday night, one person is in the hospital.
Rudy Bautista stabbed a person in Weiner near an apartment complex on Fuller Street, according to Poinsett County Sheriff Kevin Molder.
Officers were called to an altercation at the apartments around 8:33 that night, Molder said.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers found one person stabbed and Bautista left the scene in a vehicle. He then crashed the vehicle and ran away.
Officers found him and arrested Bautista around 9:50 Saturday night.
According to Molder, the victim suffered non-life threatening injuries, and the name of the person has not been released.
An investigation is ongoing.
