Paragould man arrested for child pornography
JONESBORO, Ark. – A Paragould man is facing a distribute/possess/viewing matter depicting sexual conduct involving a child charge after an investigation by Jonesboro police.
Officers arrested Eric Wayne Counts, 39, on Tuesday, Jan. 5.
According to a probable cause affidavit in the case, the Jonesboro Police Department High Tech Crimes Unit received a cyber tip on Sept. 28 from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, who sent the information to the Arkansas State Police.
Jonesboro police said the information, from a Snapchat account, showed two juvenile girls performing oral sex on a man.
Counts is currently free on a $50,000 bond awaiting arraignment on Feb. 26.
