Person killed and an investigation is underway following a shooting in Little Rock

Little Rock, Arkansas — An investigation into a deadly shooting that occurred in the 5001 block of West 65th Street is now being conducted by the Little Rock Police Department.
At approximately 5:44 a.m. on Saturday, officers went to a complaint of shots fired and discovered a person suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
The individual was reportedly taken to a nearby hospital after being injured, however, they did not survive their injuries and passed away.
