Plane diverted to airport in Little Rock following mid-flight assault

Little Rock, Arkansas – Federal Bureau of Investigations officials said that a flight had to be diverted to Clinton National Airport on Saturday afternoon due to a possible attack on board.
Southwest Airlines flight 192, which took off from Houston and was bound for Columbus, Ohio, was diverted because of the incident, according to a number of sources.
As soon as the plane landed, Little Rock police officers and a federal liaison officer responded and started an investigation.
The event occurred mid-flight, according to FBI officials, and the person responsible has been placed in federal jail as a result.
One passenger, according to the authorities, was brought to a nearby hospital for treatment.
