Red Cross opens recovery facilities for storm victims in Arkansas

Little Rock, Arkansas – Helping those whose lives were destroyed by a tornado outbreak in Arkansas about two weeks ago is the Red Cross’s current priority.

The American Red Cross of Arkansas provided information about the locations of Recovery Centers for those affected by recent tornadoes in Arkansas via a tweet.

According to Red Cross representatives, those whose homes were completely destroyed or severely damaged will receive urgent support from these sites.

Friday, April 14
9 a.m. – 7 p.m.

• Calvary Baptist Church – Little Rock
• Bill Harmon Rec Center – Sherwood
• Assembly of God Church – Wynne

9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

• Jacksonville Community Center – Jacksonville

Saturday, April 15

• Assembly of God Church – Wynne

The office of Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders also launched HelpArkansas.com, which provides a list of federal, state, local, and regional organizations and agencies that can be of assistance. In response to the tornadoes on March 31, it also includes volunteer and charitable options.
