Report: Matt Limegrover hired as Arkansas State offensive line coach
JONESBORO, Ark. – Butch Jones continues to assemble his 2021 Arkansas State coaching staff.
The Athletic was first to report that longtime Big Ten assistant Matt Limegrover will be the Red Wolves offensive line coach.
The Pittsburgh native has nearly 30 years of coaching experience. Limegrover spent the 2020 season as a Michigan analyst. He was Penn State’s offensive line coach from 2016 to 2019, the Nittany Lions played in a Rose Bowl and a Fiesta Bowl. Limegrover was Minnesota’s offensive coordinator/offensive line coach from 2011 to 2015. He’s also had stops at Northern Illinois, Southern Illinois, & Northwestern to name a few. Limegrover was key to Connor McGovern’s development, McGovern was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Jones and Limegrover have worked together before. They were on the same Ferris State coaching staff in 1997.
