Second annual Cat Show held at the Arkansas State Fairgrounds
Little Rock, Arkansas – On Saturday, the town hosted the second annual All Breed Cat Show. The theme for this year was “new cats in the rock.”
The Arkansas State Fairgrounds Hall of Industries hosted the event, which was organized by the Cat Fanciers Association.
There were 40 different varieties of cats competing, as well as vendors offering cat-themed merchandise.
According to show manager Pamela Bassett, the event had already surpassed the prior year.
“This year is going great. We’re just so excited. We have more people than we had last year, we have more cats than we had last year, and we’re all having a great time.”
The fairgrounds haven’t hosted a cat show in 19 years, therefore this is the second year for the event.
The goal of Cat Fanciers Incorporated, according to the group’s organizers, is to advance the welfare and improvement of all cats as well as the interests of pedigree cat breeders and exhibitors.
