Virtual learning to be possible in some Arkansas school districts, report

Conway, Arkansas – Online virtual learning will be an available option for students in some of the Arkansas school districts.
Arkansas State Board of Education decided on Thursday that every school district will have the right to make their own plans and programs for next school.
“We just want to make sure that families have all of the options available to make the best decisions for their student and there is room for flexibility,” said Charisse Dean, state board chair.
Every school district should prepare a plan where teachers won’t be overworked. And each plan is different.
Some districts will have virtual students check in every day, others every week. Some will have liaisons to help with communication.
The state board still has more than 100 district plans to approve.
