LITTLE ROCK — A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident in Conway on Wednesday afternoon, state police reported.
A 2018 Kenworth Motor TT was waiting for a green light in the outside left turn lane on Central Landing Boulevard around 1:14 p.m. When the light turned green, the vehicle began to make the turn onto East Oak Street and struck Joanna Lee Faylor, 54, who was crossing the road, according to state police.
The person driving the vehicle said they did not see Faylor crossing when they made the turn.
Faylor was later pronounced dead.
State police reported that conditions were clear and dry at the time of the crash.
