Highway 161 gunshot injures a North Little Rock police officer
Little Rock, Arkansas – A shooting occurred on Sunday afternoon in the 2300 block of Highway 161, injuring a North Little Rock police officer.
A news release from the North Little Rock Police Department (NLRPD) stated that they were alerted to a gathering of armed and suspicious people.
According to the news release, the subjects ran away on foot and shot one officer.
The officer was transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment because their wounds were not life-threatening.
