Arkansas Department of Health reported high Covid-19 numbers, active cases increase by nearly 400
Conway, Arkansas – Arkansas Department of Health released the daily Covid-19 report on June 30.
According to the report, Arkansas added 686 new Covid-19 confirmed cases in the last 24 hours. Total of 4 more deaths were also reported.
With the latest number, Arkansas increased the number of active cases for 398 now reaching 3,763 active cases.
Since the start of the pandemic, 349,385 people were reported positive of Covid-19. The total number of deaths is 5,909.
Governor Hutchinson released the following statement on today’s COVID-19 numbers:
The high number of cases today makes it clear that the Delta Variant is increasing the spread of the virus. The good news is that vaccinations increased to over 10,000. Let’s keep making progress.
