Shooting at Fredo Bang concert in Newport, AR, early on Sunday morning, leaves 1 dead and 4 injured
Little Rock, Arkansas – Early on Sunday morning in Newport, Arkansas, there was a fatal shooting at a rap event.
Authorities first learned about the incident at roughly 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 5, according to Newport Police Department Police Chief Larry Dulaney and Lieutenant Mark Harmon.
The incident occurred at a Fredo Bang event in the 400 block of Clay Street, leaving one person dead and four others injured.
The four injured people’s current conditions are unknown. One person had further treatment after being transported to a hospital.
