Return of the overnight Camp Healing Hearts by Methodist Family Health
Little Rock, Arkansas – A camp designed to support families and kids in Arkansas going through loss and grief is coming back as an overnight event.
Kaleidoscope Grief Center’s program coordinator Janet Breen spoke about Camp Healing Hearts.
For children and families dealing with bereavement in Arkansas, Camp Healing Hearts is an overnight camp. The Kaleidoscope Grief Center, a Methodist Family Health organization, is in charge of organizing the camp. The camp had only been held for one day since COVID-19.
On May 19 at Camp Aldersgate in Little Rock, Camp Healing Hearts will start at 4:30 p.m. It is free for participating families. The registration deadline is May 5.
Heart-to-heart time, swimming, fishing, crafts, games, campfires, and s’mores are a few of the camp activities.
