Central Arkansas organization promoting adoptions
North Little Rock, Arkansas – Finding homes for children in Arkansas is the goal of a local group.
Currently, Arkansas’s foster care system is home to about 4,500 kids. Project Zero is attempting to lower that figure.
Project Zero enables a 16-year-old to celebrate his or her first birthday.
The magic of finding children in the state a permanent family will be brought to life with music, dancing, and regal carriages.
According to Cara Schaefer, the Project Zero volunteer organizer, “with the hope that forever families are formed.”
According to Project Zero, they are dedicated to thinking creatively to make the dream of giving every waiting child a place to call home a reality.
They, therefore, staged their 15th Annual Disney Extravaganza to do that.
35 children found their forever families last year as a consequence of our event, and this year we hope for many more, Schaefer added.
Over 4,500 children in Arkansas are among the over 100,000 children in the United States who are waiting to be adopted, according to Project Zero.
Project Zero is highlighting Arkansas youngsters looking for new families in its Wednesday’s Child segment.
The ultimate objective is to ensure that every child has a home, as Mickey Mouse made his triumphant debut and princesses made their way around to the children and families.
“We see results because 205 youngsters have signed up to attend our event today. We are willing to do all of this, endure the heat, and engage in games because we are confident that it is effective, said Schaefer.
