Concerns about Issue 4 on the ballot at the Saline County polls
Little Rock, Arkansas – A man from out of state was detained by when he was trying to meet a teenage girl at a Jonesboro hotel by detectives with the Internet Crimes Against Children Division and the SWAT team.
According to a probable cause document, the Trenton, Tennessee-based David Martin Odom, 57, who was a registered sex offender, was detained by the Jonesboro Police Department after making sexually explicit comments to a young girl online.
Odom “made the conversation go sexual and kept messaging the young female,” according to the police.
When the hotel was reserved and the teen was given the room number, police instead arrived and took Odom into custody.
Odom is being held in the Craighead County Detention Center on a $1 million bond after being accused of stalking a minor online.
