LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Conway police were searching for a man accused of trying to rob a vape shop on Wednesday.
Officers were called out to Smoke and Vape City on Dave Ward Drive around 12:20 p.m., according to police. When officers arrived at the scene, employees told them that a man had attempted to rob them.
Police said employees told them the man pulled a gun on the clerk and demanded that she open the register and give him money. The store manager reportedly heard the commotion from the back office and got his gun. When the manager saw the man point a gun at the clerk, the manager reportedly fired two shots.
Security footage showed the man run behind the building, according to police. After searching the area, officers did not find anyone matching the man’s description.
