FEMA offers Arkansans $1.3 million in disaster aid.

Little Rock, Arkansas – The Federal Emergency Management Agency has awarded $1.3 million in disaster assistance to help residents recover in Arkansas, where tornado recovery is still ongoing.
FEMA reports that 4,000 people and families have requested aid, but some may still be waiting to do so.
Teams from FEMA’s Disaster Survivor Assistance program will be on hand at particular sites over the weekend to assist residents in registering for aid.
DSA team members will be present in the following places on Saturday and Sunday: Family Assistance Center (City Center), 315 N. Shackleford Road, Little Rock, AR 72211, from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
1st Baptist Church, 401 1st Street, Jacksonville, AR 72076, Saturday, 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m.-6:30 p.m. NLR Donation Center, 1300 Pike Ave., North Little Rock, AR 72114, Saturday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
It is open on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 2301 Thornhill Drive in Sherwood, Arkansas 72120. It is closed on Sunday.
