North Little Rock, Arkansas – The public is being consulted as the North Little Rock Public Library System develops its strategic plan for 2026–2029.

As they get ready to enhance services and grow programming, library officials said they are concentrating on ensuring the plan represents the interests of North Little Rock residents. The 5- to 10-minute survey will be available from January 13 to January 31.

“This is a significant chance for our community to directly influence the future of their public library system,” stated Crystal Gates, executive director of NLRPLS. “Whether it’s library programs, services, or resources, we’re eager to learn what the public values most and how we can continue to better serve our community in the future.”

High school students can now volunteer at the North Little Rock Public Library System.
In February, the library system will also hold focus groups for community people to share their thoughts and recommendations in addition to the poll.

To help in the planning process, the NLRPLS will also collaborate with Constructive Disruption, a consulting organization.

The Little Rock School Board convenes to solicit community feedback on the LRSD 2.0 plan.
