Gen. Wesley Clark meets the students at UA Little Rock

Little Rock, Arkansas – General Wesley Clark, a former Supreme Allied Commander of NATO, visited the University of Arkansas at Little Rock on Tuesday.

General Clark, a native of the capital, addressed the Donaghey Scholars Honors Program pupils.

He talked about the conflict in Ukraine as well as the geopolitical effects of the sanctions on Russia, particularly in the energy sector.

“I think what I took away from it the most was what we and our generation need to be doing and what’s going on and why we need to be tuned in to what’s happening and how we can make a difference,” student Chloe McGhee said.

The students are taking a course that focuses on energy policy.
