Police in North Little Rock looking into a fatal shooting that happened on Saturday

Little Rock, Arkansas – One man is dead after a gunshot in North Little Rock on Saturday, according to the police.
Officers from the North Little Rock Police Department were called to a home along Perin Road and Kierre Drive at around 2:37 p.m. on Saturday in connection to a shooting victim.
When the police arrived, they discovered a male adult victim lying outside the house with at least one gunshot wound to his leg. After being taken by EMS to a nearby hospital, the man passed away from his wounds.
Following notification, detectives from the NLRPD arrived on the scene to begin a homicide investigation.
In a news release, the police stated that the victim’s identity will not be disclosed until the victim’s next of kin has been notified.

The NLRPD states that this is an ongoing, active inquiry and that further details will be made public as they become available.
