Several Arkansas schools are updating their schedules for the upcoming school year

Little Rock, Arkansas – For the upcoming academic year, certain schools in the state of Arkansas intend to change their timetables.
Numerous educational institutions in the state will switch from a day and half-day arrangement to an hourly one, including the Highland School District in Sharp and Fulton County.
The Highland School District has stated that the start and conclusion of the school day would be extended by a short amount of time.
“We’re still working on our beginning times for the day and ending times for the day. Mostly, parents and students will not notice much of a difference than a few minutes. We’re talking 10-15 minutes a day,” Superintendent Jeremy Lewis said.
By adding the time, the number of days when students and teachers interact will drop from 178 to 169.
