The Capital Hotel welcomes Christmas
Little Rock, Arkansas – The 28-foot Christmas tree at the Capital Hotel was decorated on Friday morning after the white fir tree arrived, carrying on the festive custom.
For most of the weekend, Tipton and Hurst floral and décor experts will be decorating the lobby of the iconic downtown Little Rock hotel for Christmas.
According to Howard Hurst of Tipton and Hurst, they chose a fresh appearance to go with the lively hues of the hotel.
“This year we’ve picked out some new ribbon and some beautiful velvets that match the hotel, and burgundy and so we have tat going on too,” Hurst stated.
Tuesday night is the scheduled tree-lighting ceremony.
Around 10,000 lights will be used to decorate the tree in addition to ribbons and ornaments.
