The Mount Holly Cemetery’s ghosts are reappearing
Little Rock, Arkansas – The Mount Holly Cemetery’s “Tales of the Crypt” are back!
Tuesday marked the start of the annual event’s dress rehearsals.
Student actors from Parkview High School have been portraying scenes from the lives of those interred at Mount Holly since October 1995 while donning costumes.
After putting in countless hours of research, students write a scenario or monologue that tourists can enjoy on guided tours.
“I think it provides them a unique opportunity to not just randomly create a character but to try to embody the spirit of the time.” Said Parkview High School drama specialist Tamara Zinck.
The public can attend the free event this Sunday, October 9, from 2 to 4 p.m., but donations are welcome.
