Veteran from Conway gets new set of wheels
Conway, Arkansas – Conway community bought new set of wheels to their neighboor who is a disabled veteran.
You may see Tom Cozard, who is also known as “Wheelchair Pop” around Conway, driving his red riding lawnmower. It was set on fire a few months ago. Weathered wheels and handles holding on with a single piece of duct tape was all he had to get around
Veterans from Conway started a GoFundMe to raise money to buy him a new one. After a few weeks they succeeded in their intention. Conway Veterans raised almost $5,000 and now the “Wheelchair Pop” is able to ride his new lawnmower. He couldn’t believe what his “pals” did for him, he was so happy and glad he can get back to mowing lawns.
Tractor Supply from Conway gave him a discount to get him back to doing what he loves.
