Authorities in Arkansas discover human skeletal remains in a wooded area

Little Rock, Arkansas – In Searcy, Arkansas, authorities discovered human skeletal remains in a wooden structure.
According to a press release, the Searcy Police Department received a report of potential human remains in a forested area between South Poplar Street and Hubach Drive on Friday at 4:00 p.m.
Officers discovered human skeletal remains when they arrived, collected them, and transferred them to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for identification.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Evidence Retrieval Team (ERT) was contacted, according to the Police Department, to help with the retrieval of the remains.
