Benton-area crash on 1-30 causes huge delay

Saline County, Arkansas – Wednesday evening travelers heading west are experiencing significant delays due to a car accident on Interstate 30 in Saline County.
According to the Arkansas Department of Transportation, the collision happened at milepost 114, southwest of Benton.
Traffic was already backed up just past the Bryant exit near Reynolds Road by 6:45 p.m., according to ARDOT authorities, who report that the crash occurred around 6:15 p.m.
On how quickly the crash will be resolved, no official word has yet been given.
