Despite the Sweet 16 defeat, hog fans remain proud

Little Rock, Arkansas – The 2023 season has come to a close for the Arkansas Razorbacks basketball team.

In the Sweet 16, UCONN defeated the Hogs 65-88.

UConn defeats Arkansas in the Sweet Sixteen.

At Brewskis Pub and Grub in Little Rock, many spectators eagerly anticipated and hoped the Hogs would advance to their third consecutive Elite 8 of the NCAA March Madness Tournament while they watched the game.

Fans at Brewskis said they are happy of the Razorbacks for making it this far and deny the injuries the squad sustained, despite the fact that the season did not end as the state had hoped.

Guard Nick Smith Junior, a freshman, suffered a critical injury. Coming out of North Little Rock High School, Smith JR. was one of the top athletes in the country.

Fans are now hoping that Jordan Walsh, Anthony Black, and the other freshmen All-Americans will remain as a unit for another season at the University of Arkansas.

The victory over Kansas, who were rated first, in the second round of the tournament is regarded by many fans of the team as the best moment of the season.
