LRFD worker arrested in a connection to child pornography case, report
Little Rock, Arkansas – Little Rock Fire Department employee has been arrested in a connection to a child pornography case, police say.
According to police reports, the 35-year-old Christian Burton has been accused of possession of child pornography with intent to view and receipt/distribution of child pornography.
In an announcement, Little Rock Fire Department confirmed the arrest and said that their colleague was arrested while on duty on July 2. Burton has been placed on administrative leave since he was arrested.
The first court hearing took place last Monday and several police officers testified that they found child pornography on Burton’s phone and a photo that appeared to show his penis next to a sleeping boy.
Burton will be held in jail without bond as the judge said he is a threat to the community.
The suspect is held in Pulaski County jail and he the first court trial will take place on August 23.
